Hello
Just a couple of questions,
How fully plug and play is this unit
http://boutique.fenixecu.com/renault/12 ... turbo.html
Is it a case of a base map and basic settings for the flywheel trigger pattern etc so the engine will run and final set up done on dyno or is it blank & just waiting for a full setup?
Thanks
Rich

Bonjour
Juste quelques questions,
Comment entièrement plug and play est cette unité
http://boutique.fenixecu.com/renault/12 ... turbo.html
Est-ce un cas d'un fond de carte et les paramètres de base pour le volant déclencheur modèle etc sorte que le moteur tourne et dernier set up fait sur banc ou est-il vide et juste en attente d'une installation complète?

Hello Red,

This PNP ECU is set to be use with R21 cars, but need a dyno tuning to achieve the job. When you plug it, your engine will start up but you need to tune the ignition and fuel tables. There are some good start tables in it, but it have to be tune for EACH engine to get the best from the couple ECU/Engine, as usual.

Kinds regards,
Manu

Hello
It’s a long time since I last visited & I am still seriously considering buying one of these PnP units but I have more questions. Is there an internal to external connector schematic & available function list and is there the possibility for additional functions via any unused pin connectors? As I need a square wave tacho output?
Rich

Hi Rich,

There is no schematic available, but you can have a look at this post :

2010
This is exactly what you should get if you order a PNP ECU. There is some minor things that had change since 2010 (i.e. : IDLE EV driver, etc...).

I assemble all PNP ECU on order only so you can ask what you want, and if it's possible I'll do. So of course you can decide to use specifics pin connectors to drive specifics outputs/functions...

If you keep the stock R21 coil, you don't need any tacho output since the gauge is driven by the coil.

Best regards,
Manu
